About Us

My name is Ted Nytes and I own and operate Nytes Cabinets.  This is my fourth year of business out on my own, and I had six years of experience with another cabinet shop.  I went to Hennepin Technical College for their two-year cabinet program.  To graduate at the end of the two years each student had to build and install a kitchen. At that time I had already built three kitchens and a dozen other projects.  I was the head of my class and the students came to me for advice.

 At school I learned one way of building cabinets and at the cabinet shop I learned a totally different way to build them.  They both had great qualities, and they both had their downsides, so I took the best of both and I believe that my cabinets are the best-built, best designed, and have the best quality.  If you are looking for great, well-built custom cabinets than you have found the right guy.  I would like to tell you that your experience with my cabinets and me would be one that you will never forget.
