| Hickory (the wild wood). This has got to be one of my favorite woods. This wood is very hard and can be a challenge to work with but in the end is very well worth it. This wood is great natural because it has some wild grain configurations. It can go from dark tight grain to a light sapwood color in the same board. As you can see it makes for a mouth dropping entrance. |
